PROGRAM
Our most important principle is that nutritional and dietary problems are, at their most fundamental levels, behavior change challenges. Even if your clients know EXACTLY what, when, and how to eat, as well as how to rest and recover, most of them cannot do it for any period of time because their life is not designed to support their change efforts. This course intensely explores this side of the nutritional puzzle and gives you experience utilizing fast behavior change tools that you can put to work immediately.
Next, in order to drive home the point that your nutritional approach must be both personalized and adaptable, we explore simple assessment procedures your clients can use to function as their own food scientist. This allows them, with your guidance, to build a plan that works for them based on their personal reassessments, as opposed to some arbitrarily decided-upon diet or eating plan.
Finally, we explore common neurologic roadblocks that can interfere with both the nutritional and behavioral sides of dietary changes and offer simple solutions. Ths understanding will allow you to pass on to your clients the understanding that they may have a trainable brain issue and not a character flaw – a crucial, powerful, and freeing piece of knowledge that can build their confidence toward success.
