In this module, we teach you how to build a PDP model. You will learn how to estimate the production, energy content, gas processing, and equivalents of the reserves. You will also learn how to create a processing statement, forecast the revenues and costs, and calculate the taxes and cashflow.
Module 5: Single-well Economics
In this module, we teach you about the key assumptions and inputs, such as TC profiles, decline curve analysis, D&C costs, and timing of cash flows. You will also learn how to calculate the summary metrics, such as NPV, IRR, and payback period, as well as the break-even price of oil or gas for a given well.
Module 6: NAV Model
In this module, you will learn how to build a NAV model. You will learn how to set up the layout of the model, how to input the rig schedule and well schedule, how to estimate the reserves and production profile, and how to create a quad plot to visualize the results.
Module 7: Case Study
In this module, we’ll guide you through a case study where you’ll master analyzing investor presentations, evaluating A&D transactions, and describe the key features of O&G assets. You’ll also gain expertise in calculating price differentials, OpEx, CapEx, estimating the reserves, production rates, and decline curves.
Module 8: Transaction Comps
This module covers 6 lessons on transaction comps for O&G companies. You’ll learn to choose comparable companies, compute metrics, analyze trends, drivers, and compare valuation methods. IThis module will help you understand how to value oil and gas assets and companies using examples and data sources.
